A question I’ve had for a long time about the F4E phantom is what are the camera like parts on the wing tips? When I first saw them I noted that I seem to give a 360 degree view around the aircraft so I thought it was a MAW but I couldn’t find any information about it.

I believe the hole in the tail was to provide feedback on the control stick.

how do the pitot tubes in the ram intake deal with boundary layer effect? I'm thinking that the air flowing through the nose cone or airframe in front of the intakes may be slower and sometimes detatched due to adverse pressure gradient, this might result in faulty readings

기체에 써진 글자 의미나 마크 의미도 알고 보면 재미 있어요. 연료통에 표기도 민수용과 유럽놈들이 주로 쓰는 NATO표기가 다르고(JP-8, F-34) 각종 정비용 마킹이나 마크 같은것들도 있고. 나중에 이런것도 다뤄줘용.

Yeah a fuel dump device . Not a APU . Airliners have thier fuel dumping equipment out on the wings .(All heavy jets (boeing 767,777 etc airbus A330, A350 etc etc )can fuel dump .) That pipe coming out of most civil aircraft is just a APU Exhaust outlet . They dont turn on the APU for fuel burn in civil aviation
